Here's my "Update! Update!

So, I've officially been yelled at for not posting in a while. It's too bad I don't have much more to say. Work keeps me busy these days. I love everything about this new job. I'm learning more and more about autism everyday AND I get to work with kids. It's amazing! There's not much more for me to say at the moment. I will do my best to come up with more as the week goes on. Sorry if any of you are disappointed, it's just been a busy couple of weeks with work training and all.

Nothing wrong with a healthy level of busyness [Olde English, I know] in your life! If you can, you should take pictures of your young charges!

You know, Jacko was just acquitted of stuff involving photos of young charges...

Where in Milwaukee do you work? One of the hospitals?

I work for the Autism Behavioral Network and I do therapy in the family's homes. And, I don't know if I can take pics of my kids, but if I did I would have no way to put them on my computer seeing as I'm poor and don't have a digital camera or a scanner. Brent, that's very nice of you to bring up, but, what are you trying to say?

That you could take pictures and get away with it. Come on, now! Just don't take them home with you. I was thinking more along the lines of cute "Katie with kids at the park" pictures... Come on, now! You could use MS Paint to draw a picture then post that on your site. Or...make your picture here, and post a link to it on your site. How's that?

okay Nick, how bout I take a picture and just show it you sometime. That would be a whole lot easier. Plus, I don't like to draw.

Hmm, I would think pictures violate our friend HIPAA

It's not really HIPAA as much as it is not putting kid's pictures up without parents' permission. If it was a picture one of the parents gave to me, that would be okay, but I can't be taking random pics of my kids and then posting them. It's not ethical.

Where'd all these lawyers show up? Blogging is a blurry world for copyrights, trade secrets, and privacy.
