The time has come...and gone...

Well, my birthday came and went. It was a wonderful (and very delicious) dinner. Yummy cheesecake. The concert was awesome. Switchfoot delivers yet another amazing performance. However, the seats were HORRIBLE! I was a bit disappointed with the way they set up the stage and the seating (and with the fact that the free seats ended up being the best seats in the house) Oh well, it was still a great concert and a really fun evening. Thanks to everyone who was a part of making it so enjoyable. I really am blessed with some fabulous friends. I love you all! And to those who couldn't make it, you missed out! The picture above is me (yes, I know I'm white, no reminders necessary) and my friend Chris. I was also surrounded by couples (i.e. Brandon and Sarah Joy, Adam and Donna)
......and then there's Megan....

RA training starts in 1 week and school in a little over 3 weeks. Summer has been a blast, but I can't wait to see everyone again and get back into the grind of MSOE. (hopefully, I feel the same way in 3 weeks)

Congrats to Cheryl Crawford and family for the addition of a bouncing baby girl, Meghan Lauren (the popular vote was Cindy for a girl). I was hoping she'd wait and share my birthday, but she come on the 11th, which is close enough, I suppose...

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all of you out there who were born in the month of August, cause you're cooler than everyone else!

Thanks so much, Nick. You are such a pal to leave such a wonderful photo for me to see. By the way, thanks for coming to dinner.
